A short PSA depicting a boy who lays, glued to his phone, in an endless cycle of never ending sadness, and feeling stuck. With this PSA, we are highlighting those who struggle with every day things, but if it goes unnoticed and continues to be unchecked, it can turn into something deeper and harder to get out of. Sometimes all you need is a new perspective on life, and if that means putting down the one thing controlling you on a daily basis, then maybe that is all you need to in order to feel ok, to get out of the spiral of darkness, and into the light.
Does the film offer the viewer specific suggestions of what others can do to support mental health? Does the film encourage the viewer and/or other youth to feel, act, or think differently? Films should be action-oriented in some way in order to encourage change and support.
