This boy is very popular at his school. He is friends with everyone and all the teachers. At home his parents are always fighting and his dad is an alcoholic. He tries to cover it up while outside of his home and no one can tell he is struggling but there are signs. Because of his dads alcohol addiction he gets into drugs and his life goes downhill. It could have been stopped if someone just checked up on him or if he asked for help from someone else. The purpose of the PSA is to show that even the most popular people who seem happy on the outside can be struggling on the inside with their own personal addiction with things they think about and do in secret. At the end of the PSA a stat comes on the screen that says that 80% of people who ask for help get better and 70% of people who check up on someone going through a bad time could save their life.
