Silent Silenced

by

This 1 minute video is about a guy who does not open up because of the stereotypes of men. Men are told not to cry and to be strong making them not want to open up when they are struggling with something. In this case, Sean who plays the guy that blasts music in his headphones, alone in his thoughts, walking alone, is severely struggling. When he is alone, one of his friends, Marely, notices he looks depressed and asks if he is okay. He wants to pretend and act as if he is okay, but she knows he is really not okay. This makes him want him to open up and telling her he’s not okay and she says that’s why she is there, to be there for him, help, and listen when needed. Then at the end Sean gives a statement saying to reach out.
