Time Is Of The Essence

After a long day at school, a student sits down, opens his phone, and begins scrolling whilst a clock ticks subtly. Time starts to pass as the scrolling continues, yet the boy doesn’t realize this until he looks up from his phone and he is in the middle of a desert surrounded by dead brush. The clock is broken and he realizes all the time that has been wasted.
