The film begins with a series of clips depicting the variety of ways water is used in my culture. Then, it transitions from focusing on water to focusing on a person. Harsh words and demands build up, mirroring the person’s inside expectations. They reach out a hand as they drown, and their mother responds. The person is pulled up, and they wake in their bed. Their parent assures them that they are enough, and they embrace.
