A high school Junior was diagnosed with ADHD when he was young. In an attempt to “fix” him, his parents force him to take medication. Using an extended metaphor where an everyday, normal action is compared to taking medication, the audience learns that medication has invaded the lives of many, disguised as a normal and only solution. This film is to raise awareness that medication is the opposite; it isn’t the only option, and definitely shouldn’t be forced. That ADHD is not something to be “fixed” and that society needs to alter its perspective towards something that wasn’t a choice.
