Scars of Beauty

by

A guy named Bob goes on a run in a park but ends up slipping and falling on his head. This gives him a very noticeable bruise on his head that when he walks on to his house, the other people in the park notice and start whispering to themselves, albeit loudly, how he looks strange and to look at his head where the bruise is. Bob goes home and ends up looking at the mirror, which reflects himself, but also similar comments to what the other people in the park were pointing out, but these comments are more harmful and horrible as he believes that he truly is ugly. Bob hears knocking at his door and when he opens his front door, he sees his friend who quickly takes notice of the bruise on Bob’s head and gives him a hug to show support which Bob really needed for his thoughts and self image are incredibly low and harmful.
