A puppet stands center stage, strings tight in its own hands. This short film shows personal elements through its use of marionette puppetry to demonstrate the experience of showing happiness while feeling empty inside. The character performs his actions through prearranged movements which display his emotions because he seeks to be accepted by others instead of showing his authentic self. The question of our true selves without the performance exists because the strings keep increasing their weight. The film uses a vulnerable scene to show how people find their identity through their identity and their need for rest and their need to release control.
