Spill is the visual of ink spreading across a self-portrait to represents substance use. The film starts out with a completed self portrait, filled with personality, identity, and colors. When ink spills onto the portrait, it spreads and falls across the canvas, representing how small of a mistake can create a lasting effect. As the canvas becomes distorted, the painting reflects on how a choice can hurt you, even as small as a spill. It is focused on giving our audience a sense of life and identity, to reflect upon their decisions and to reach out before the spill spreads.
