Our submission is a PSA for suicide prevention. The name of our PSA is titled “Breaking the Silence” because it is about someone who broke the silence about their struggles. The main character in the video is a cheery young girl that has never really thought of herself in a negative way. She gets to school when suddenly a group of bullies starts to make fun of her and make her feel bad about herself. They continue to bully her as the days go on, which takes a great toll on her mental health, but she stays quiet and keeps it from her friends. Her friends notice something is wrong and ask her about it, and she finally opens up about what has been happening.
