the scene starts us off with a scene that shows that a guy is texting his friends and shows to us how his dad is a bit more abusive then others and that this is a common thing ever since he was young but further in you learn how that abuse in his earl stages of life affected him later on and how he figured out about his ability and what should be doing when faced with such strange feelings.
