Isolation

A withdrawn teenager continues to drift more and more into isolation. He ignores the text from his sister, disconnecting from the world. He seeks seclusion and hides in a quiet place away from everyone. He stares at the text, struggling to decide whether to respond or not. He decides not to and stays alone and away. He’s all alone until his sister discovers him. She recognizes his distraught and reaches out, offering her hand to her brother. He hesitates for a moment but finally realize that all she wants to do is help and be supportive. He grabs her hand and she lifts him up.Now united, they walk away together.
