Mind Your Language

by

Middle schooler Jeremy looks up to his big brother and imitates everything he does—even the way he talks. When his brother casually says, “I’m going to kill myself” after failing a test, Jeremy picks up the phrase without realizing the weight of those words. Later, when he says it after a small accident in woodshop, his teacher and friends grow concerned. This moment makes his big brother realize the impact of his language. Our film highlights the importance of using kind and accurate words about mental health—because we never know who is listening and learning from us.
