Wake Up follows Cruz, a teenage boy wrestling with sleeplessness and a restless mind. He is abruptly drawn into two vivid nightmares: one where he is trapped in traffic, overwhelmed by flashing lights and blaring horns, symbolizing his anxiety. In the next he is lost in an endless, empty field, running with no end in sight, this dream represents his isolation. Cruz jolts awake and makes a choice. Instead of letting these inner demons consume him, he searches for help and calls the mental health hotline. As the phone rings and the screen fades, the film delivers a powerful message, seeking help is the first step towards healing.
