This is a video that demonstrates the importance of trusted adults and how adults will feel a sense of pride and happiness when they are trusted adults.
Summary: A teacher has a huge stack of papers that he must grade, counselor must do the many tedious task that is on their computer, and a custodian must make sure that the many pieces of litter on the ground must be picked up and the walls must be cleaned. While they do their difficult task they think about the questions that people will sometimes ask them, “why do they do it?” “Doesn’t it get tiring?” “Doesn’t it get monotonous?” However they each remember why they do it… for the students, for the impact that they have on them, for the relationships that they create with the students.
