This is a short, informational film, created by Sabrina Urd. and Levi Cardona. Showing how someone going through a mental health challenge can experience a lot of different feelings, how they aren’t alone, and how a mental health challenge doesn’t define them. Explaining both, positive and negative sides of mental health.
Breaking the idea that you can’t reach out and encouraging self advocacy.
In the video, you see our character sitting down in an isolated seat in a classroom, visibly looking uncomfortable, and possibly going through a mental health challenge. Pictures and videos of our characters life begin to overlap and fill in the screen showing a sense of overwhelming and anxious feelings. Following that, our character is in a library and as he is leaving he passes and notices a poster promoting the 988 line and decides to message them for help. Throughout the video there’s a voice over explaining different things about mental health and encourages viewers to reach out for help if they or somebody they know is going through something.
