Two friends face a struggle in their relationship when one of them begins acting differently and pulling away. In order to save their relationship, the other friend checks in with them and discovers substance use as the culprit. Thus, we overall want to convey to friends of substance users that they shouldn’t fear speaking out. We encourage them to do so and not only save their friendships, but also their friend’s future health.
