More than a Joke is a short film about Brooke, a girl who appears to be happy and confident around her friends, but once in private she struggles with sadness and insecurity. Throughout the film, Brooke simply laughs off comments that hurt her, which makes it hard for the people around her to realize what she’s actually going through.
