Missing school. Peer pressure. Depression and anxiety. Substance use is a dangerous path. There is immense societal pressure to be a star student, go on to college and get into a successful career. This pressure can be overwhelming and can lead teenagers to turn to illegal drugs and be influenced by peer pressure. What we forget is who is impacted by the choice to use illegal drugs. Drug addiction not only affects you, but also those around you, including younger children who may be watching.
