Something Is Not Right

My submission is a 2d animated story I made myself on flipaclip on the topic suicide prevention. The story is about a boy who notices their friend hasn’t been acting the way they normally would and figures they should check in with them. The story specifically surrounds the #, #Bethe1toKnowtheSigns, as I use character dialogue and animated visuals to mention and show some of the warning signs for suicide. I tried my best to have the viewers understand that it’s not that simple to see when someone is actually thinking about suicide or hurting themselves. However, they should still take the signs seriously especially when the sign is new or increases. I don’t use any statistics because there isn’t really any room for them in a 30 second animated story. I also tried to ensure that what is shown isn’t triggering and that I used the appropriate language.
