“Sunshine & Rain” follows the story of two struggling high school students as they navigate their unique situations. One cheery student—Dylan—lives alone in his car after his parents’ passing in an accident. Another, more dreary student—Riley—struggles to find support amongst her peers. She feels alienated from both her family and fellow students, with Dylan being the only friend checking in on her despite his own struggles. Each student grapples with their situation differently, with stark differences in how they talk, act, and behave.
